Drawing with a tablet is fun

Shana’s got a new friend now.
I bought myself a tablet today. Its a Wacom Bamboo tablet. I always wanted to draw stuff on to a screen but no matter how sensitive, a mouse just does not cut it. It simply doesn’t beat the sensation of using a pen that frees your head into concentrating on drawing instead of actually trying to get the mouse to move in the right direction.
Anyway, after a little test, I decided to to see if the tablet could get my l33t drawing (I wish) skillz from the paper to the digital world. So this is the first complete picture I have drawn with a digitising tablet. I call it “Confession”.
How is it? Is it fappable?

Omgg lucky, I want a tablet too. q__x
The hand seem a bit small and the arm is a bit short. Fingers could be more slender. Otherwise not bad. xD

It’s not fappable.
I think the best thing about a tablet is that it lets you make use of stuff like layers. So you can put down a stick figure in the bottom corner and build up, and delete/redraw bits until it looks right. I think your pic could have really benefited from such an approach.

I seriously detest about having a mouse for art is bad. I’m using mouse on my art, and I get good results most of the time. It’s just that you need to fiddle on your tools (especially on Photoshop and Corel, those have tools that work wonders), and get them right to make a good line or two.

Using a mouse for art isn’t bad at all. I vector things with a mouse all the time. Look at

Those are done by mouse. The part where the mouse does not cut it is the speed at which you can do things. I found I could achieve that with a tablet.

Hehe..it is not fappable yet. But I Didn’t try to draw at all So I think It is not my right to say that…
