I thought I had already given up hope after watching Fate/Stay Night and finding myself falling asleep when wind of Fate/Zero reached my ears. Being the very open minded person I am, I decided to run it past myself. Fate/Zero is the prequel to what would be a rather boring Fate/Stay Night, and apparently shows that just before Shirou and company got together, some very epic battles were fought. I’m late to the show, but this show’s pretty awesome. It’s about the lives of a boy who’s struggling to let go of his past, except a ghost continues to haunt him about it. It’s actually pretty decent and touches on some very interesting bits of how people feel about their childhood, nostalgia and past lives. Continue reading »
I watched this for the second time today. I actually watched it on the 18th of December last year. Whether or not that was a coincidence is probably pretty moot. Or perhaps some unknown force that we dare not admit exists plays a hand in our lives as well. Whatever it was, this movie is every bit as awesome as the Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi. After all, this movie was the adaptation of the book itself.
I won’t say any more beyond this. If you want to see a novel come to life, here’s your chance.
This was a 2008 show about a guy called Negishi that went to Tokyo to study and in the hopes of starting a boyband where he would be able to sing his favorite songs, a.k.a. light R&B pop. What happened instead was he ended up signing himself up to a recording company that did exclusively death metal music, called Detroit Metal City. With hilarious results.
