Hey guys, did you notice the guy standing next to Yamanaka Sensei Sawa-chan-sensei?

Well, it’s not like I’m really acquainted to him or anything but, doesn’t he look astonishingly like Kagami’s dad?

Maybe K-ON is set in a period of time several years before Lucky Star, when one of Kagami’s elder sisters attended Sakuragaoka High.

And Azusa is so awesome. I’m a big fan. =DDDD

Azusa lieks caek. I liek Azusa. I think I like her because she is the most accurate representation of my insecurities that I’ve noticed in a show. I’m constantly unhappy with myself, and with what I do and with things around me. Yet I end up going with the flow anyway, and then end up wondering what I should say to other people about it when they ask.

Lately I’ve been getting the feeling that anime is trying to portray student councils as a small group of decisionmakers very detached from the rest of the student body and who constantly create their own clique and meet in isolation to discuss the most random things. Could this actually be true about Japanese high schools in general? Is this a satirical work of writers who find no respect in their old schools’ councils? Get the Flash Player to see this player.

I think all of you still remember Toradora. Best 2008 drama ever. Here’s some techno to liven it up a bit again.

Thanks Ume!

Nowadays with so many people crossdressing, maybe parents should rethink their view on dressing their boys as girls as “just for fun”. It might have some interesting effects, such as on the fetishes they develop.

I agree with Tachibana. Mapo Tofu is truly delicious stuff. I don’t know what it’s like in Japan, but I know it burns my tongue to kingdom come after a meal that’s full of it. It’s the kind of food that is so nice to eat, you won’t stop, and kills you after the meal because of the sheer amount you ate, contrary to what cat tongued Otonashi feels in 2D. Maybe Mapo Tofu is different in purgatory…
