Today’s another batshit insane trip to the beach, um I mean… Honeymoon. Yes. We must listen to Kyouka-sama and say its a honeymoon. This episode is by far the best one so far and ima tell you why. Most of the other episodes have been absolute pure intrinsic virgin randomness. But today, as Simon would put it, is like “coming out of karaoke hell, into a breath of fresh air”. Don’t get me wrong, the randomness hasn’t been toned down much, but at least this time the producers gave us something to look forward to. I’m assuming you guys have already watched this so its gonna be chock full of spoilers mind you.
Today’s post is about Mihoshi High School! Yes, the school Alto-hime goes to, and now Ranka and Sheryl too! Alto is starting to become a harem boy. This would earn him the priviledges that come with the job, such as Nice Boat murder and consistent bashing on forums and harem boy hate groups. I think that’s why Alto is so phobic about Sheryl and Ranka joining his school too. Its good that he knows whats good for him. Anyway, on to Mihoshi High School!
I’m not much for shoujo anime but this one caught by eye. (Ok fine. I’m bored because I’m waiting for Macross Frontier 8 to come out.) Itazura na Kiss is a charming little story about a girl who seems to be subject to a divine prank where she just gets drowned in rivers of misfortune. Here’s the story in a nutshell:
These two videos demonstrate why Macross Frontier is FULL OF GOLD and WIN
This is Minmei singing My Boyfriend is a Pilot (Watashi no kare wa PAIROTTO) from the original Macross
And Ranka is singing it too!!! KYUUTE!
Man… This is the best episode so far. It started with Ranka getting a manager, but the best part was not there. Beware. Spoilers ahead.
Veritech Fighter in Guardian Mode
Back when I was little I used to love going to the library. That’s right. The library. My firt experience with Macross came not from the anime, but from the series of books from the Robotech Saga. That was when my love of the Macross universe began. Ever since the very chapter where Zor sent the SDF to Earth, all the way to the battle at Reflex Point and the retreat of the Invid, the books captured my imagination from prologue to epilogue.
Shana’s got a new friend now.
I bought myself a tablet today. Its a Wacom Bamboo tablet. I always wanted to draw stuff on to a screen but no matter how sensitive, a mouse just does not cut it. It simply doesn’t beat the sensation of using a pen that frees your head into concentrating on drawing instead of actually trying to get the mouse to move in the right direction.
Anyway, after a little test, I decided to to see if the tablet could get my l33t drawing (I wish) skillz from the paper to the digital world. So this is the first complete picture I have drawn with a digitising tablet. I call it “Confession”.
How is it? Is it fappable?
